Fahadh Faasil starrer Varathan has now turned out to be one of the most talked about Malayalam movies, with the film receiving overwhelming reviews upon its release on (September 20, 2018). Directed by Amal Neerad, this film is being tagged as a riveting movie which is indeed a must watch.
Varathan had a fine start in the theatres, especially at the Kochi multiplexes, where the movie had a fabulous opening. According to a report by Forum Keralam, the film went on to fetch as much as 6.06 Lakhs on its opening day at the Kochi multiplexes.
Meanwhile, Varathan scored even more on its second day. There was an increase in the number of shows on day 2 at the Kochi multiplexes. According to the report by Forum Keralam, the Fahadh Faasil starrer fetched 8.47 Lakhs on Friday from 23 shows in total. Reportedly, the film registered an occupancy rate of 97.69 % and as many as 15 housefull shows, which are indeed spectacular numbers. Varathan has fetched 14.54 Lakhs from the 2 days of its run at the Kochi multiplexes.
