FIRST HALF UPDATE
An entertaining first half with some good comedy numbers that create good impact. Dulquer Salmaan steals the show as Lallu and he comfortably steps into the shoes of a character, which he hasn't done so far. The supporting actors also are top notch with Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Soubin Shahir and Salim Kumar chipping in with some fine comedy numbers. The screenplay does lag at portions in first half but still, the packaging is entertaining. The first half ends promising a very entertaining second half.

Dulquer Salmaan's previous Malayalam film to release in the theatres was Solo, which had released in October 2017. Now, Oru Yamandan Premakadha is Dulquer Salmaan's big Malayalam movie release after a span of 544 days.

Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Bibin George have penned the script of this entertainer. This is their third film as writers after Amar Akbar Anthony and Kattappanayile Ritwik Roshan, both of which were huge successes at the box office. They are expected to score a hat-trick of hits with this movie.
