Prithviraj
Sukumaran,
the
actor-filmmaker
and
the
cast
and
crew
of
Aadujeevitham
were
stuck
in
Jordan
after
the
country
announced
lockdown
to
prevent
coronavirus
pandemic.
The
team
members
spend
more
than
80
days
in
the
location,
where
they
were
shooting
for
the
ambitious
project.
Aadujeevitham
team
later
came
back
to
Kerala,
with
the
help
of
the
authorities.
In
a
recent
interview
given
to
a
leading
Malayalam
magazine,
director
Blessy
revealed
how
the
team
members
spend
time
when
they
were
stuck
in
the
deserts
of
Wadi
Rum,
Jordan.
According
to
the
filmmaker,
cricket
was
the
biggest
relief
for
the
team
members,
when
the
shooting
was
discontinued
due
to
the
lockdown
restrictions.
The
team
had
also
indulged
in
card
games
and
ludo.
Interestingly,
Prithviraj
Sukumaran
once
told
director
Blessy
that
he
got
a
chance
to
play
cricket
like
when
he
was
a
teenager,
in
the
sets
of
Aadujeevitham.
It
was
a
very
special
occasion
for
the
actor,
as
he
was
getting
a
chance
to
play
after
almost
20
years.
Prithviraj
Sukumaran
had
taken
a
3
months
long
break
from
cinema
to
prepare
for
his
character
in
the
movie.
The
actor
is
playing
the
role
of
Najeeb
Mohammed,
an
abused
migrant
labourer
who
gets
stranded
in
the
middle
of
a
desert
of
Saudi
Arabia
in
Aadujeevitham,
which
is
scripted
by
the
director
Blessy
himself.
AR
Rahman,
the
Academy
award-winning
musician,
is
making
a
comeback
to
Malayalam
cinema
after
a
long
gap
of
2
decades,
with
Aadujeevitham.
The
legendary
musician
will
compose
the
soundtrack
and
original
score
for
the
project.
KU
Mohanan,
the
veteran
cinematographer,
is
the
DOP.
A
Sreekar
Prasad
is
the
editor
of
the
project
while
Academy
award-winner
Rasool
Pookutty
handles
the
sound
design.
The
movie
is
produced
KG
Abraham,
under
the
banner
KGA
Films.
