Fahadh
Faasil,
the
National
award-winner
is
unarguably
one
of
the
finest
actors
of
his
generation.
The
supremely
talented
actor
has
always
amazed
the
audiences
with
his
extraordinary
acting
skills
and
amazing
film
choices.
In
a
recent
interview
given
to
a
popular
media,
Fahadh
Faasil
finally
opened
up
about
his
dream
role.
Interestingly,
the
actor
picked
the
popular
Mohanlal
character
Sathyanathan
from
the
acclaimed
movie
Sadayam
as
his
dream
role.
Fahadh
Faasil
stated
that
he
would
like
to
play
this
Mohanlal
character
on-screen
if
the
movie
gets
a
remake
someday.
The
actor
also
stated
that
he
wishes
to
play
at
least
a
character
in
similar
lines
in
the
future.
Fahadh
Faasil
has
expressed
his
deep
admiration
for
Mohanlal's
performance
in
Sadayam
in
some
of
his
earlier
interviews
too.
The
actor
has
always
stated
that
the
complete
actor's
performance
in
the
movie,
especially
in
the
climax
portions,
was
just
mindblowing.
Well,
we
totally
agree
with
Fahadh
Faasil's
opinion.
Mohanlal
had
delivered
one
of
the
finest
performances
in
his
career
in
the
role
of
Sathyanathan,
the
artist
who
awaits
capital
punishment
of
two
young
girls
and
two
men,
in
Sadayam.
The
movie,
which
hit
the
theatres
in
1992,
was
penned
by
the
Jnanapith
award-winning
writer
MT
Vasudevan
Nair
and
directed
by
the
senior
filmmaker
Sibi
Malayil.
Sadayam
is
unarguably
one
of
the
most
under-rated
films
in
Mohanlal's
career.
Even
though
Mohanlal's
performance
in
the
movie
is
still
being
appreciated
by
both
the
audiences
and
critics,
it
was
totally
ignored
by
the
juries
of
Kerala
State
Film
Awards
and
National
Film
Awards
of
1992.
Coming
back
to
Fahadh
Faasil,
the
actor
is
currently
all
set
to
release
his
ambitious
project
Malik,
immediately
after
the
theater
shutdown
comes
to
an
end.
The
actor
is
appearing
in
the
titular
role
in
the
political
thriller,
which
marks
his
second
collaboration
with
the
renowned
editor-filmmaker
Mahesh
Narayanan.
