Jeethu
Joseph,
the
popular
filmmaker
has
carved
a
place
for
himself
in
the
Malayalam
film
industry
with
exceptional
films
like
Drishyam
and
Memories.
As
we
all
know,
Jeethu
Joseph
is
now
once
again
joining
hands
with
Mohanlal
for
the
upcoming
action
thriller,
which
has
been
titled
Ram.
In
a
recent
interview
given
to
The
Cue,
the
filmmaker
made
an
interesting
revelation
about
his
next
outing.
According
to
Jeethu
Joseph,
he
is
currently
working
on
a
couple
of
scripts,
and
one
among
them
is
of
an
out
and
out
investigation
thriller.
To
the
uninitiated,
the
Drishyam
director
made
his
directorial
debut
with
the
2007-released
investigation
thriller
Detective,
which
had
featured
Suresh
Gopi
in
a
double
role.
Later
in
2013,
he
directed
Memories
with
Prithviraj
Sukumaran
in
the
lead
role,
which
has
been
considered
as
one
of
the
finest
investigation
thrillers
made
in
Malayalam
cinema
to
date.
However,
this
project
will
start
rolling
only
after
the
director
completes
Mohanlal's
Ram
and
another
untitled
project,
which
is
said
to
be
a
thriller
which
is
based
on
a
moderate
budget.
Jeethu
Joseph
also
revealed
that
he
might
start
working
on
his
next
outing
before
wrapping
up
Ram,
as
the
Mohanlal
starrer
has
been
delayed
due
to
coronavirus
threat.
The
filmmaker
decided
to
proceed
with
his
next
project
before
wrapping
the
Mohanlal
starrer,
since
it
is
not
possible
to
resume
the
shooting
of
Ram
amidst
the
lockdown.
The
major
portions
of
the
action
thriller
are
supposed
to
be
shot
in
London,
which
is
impossible
right
now
due
to
the
lockdown.
Thus,
the
Mohanlal
starrer
has
been
delayed
indefinitely,
until
the
world
comes
back
to
its
normal
state.
Thus,
the
director
is
planning
to
kickstart
his
next
outing
once
the
Kerala
government
permits
film
shootings
in
the
state.
The
movie
which
is
made
in
a
small
budget
will
be
completely
shot
in
Kerala.
The
director
is
expected
to
make
an
official
announcement
on
the
project,
very
soon.
