is

again
before
meeting
his
mother,
to
ensure
safety.

sets

back
to
Kochi

months

Mohanlal
in
Chennai,
by
the
third
week
of
July
2020.
The
actor,
who
traveled
back
by
road,
finished
14
days
of
quarantine
along
with
his
driver
in
the
specially
arranged
room
in
Hotel
Travancore
Court.
In
the
interview
given
to
a
popular
Malayalam
media
on
his
60th
birthday,
Mohanlal
had
expressed
his
disappointment
on
not
being
able
to
spend
time
with
his
mother
Shantha
Kumari.
However,
the
actor
decided
to
return
back
to
Kochi
a
month
before
resuming
his
professional
commitments,
to
spend
some
quality
time
with
his
mother.
Mohanlal
is
expected
to
kickstart
the
shooting
of
his
next
outing,
the
highly
anticipated
crime
thriller
Drishyam
2,
on
September
7,
2020.
The
movie,
which
marks
the
actor's
third
collaboration
with
the
popular
filmmaker
Jeethu
Joseph,
is
the
sequel
to
the
duo's
2013-released
blockbuster,
Drishyam.
The
movie,
which
is
bankrolled
by
Antony
Perumbavoor
for
Aashirvad
Cinemas,
will
be
shot
following

lockdown
protocols.
