Mohanlal Turns 60: Here's What Wife Suchitra Has To Say About The Complete Actor!
Mohanlal, the complete actor is celebrating his 60th birthday today. As always, Mohanlal is reportedly planning to have a simple birthday celebration this year with wife Suchitra and son Pranav, amidst lockdown. Recently, the superstar's wife Suchitra Mohanlal revealed some interesting details about Mohanlal, in a special interview given to the popular Malayalam daily Malayala Manorama.
Interestingly, the loving wife stated that she is her biggest fan. Suchitra revealed that it was so difficult for her to even talk to Mohanlal in the first few days of their married life, as she was still star-struck by him. The star wife also revealed that her father, the senior actor-producer Balaje was extremely fond of Mohanlal and used to prepare his favourite dishes whenever he is in Chennai.
Suchitra also revealed the cutest habit Mohanlal in the interview. Interestingly, the superstar had the habit of having ice cream in the mid-night, whenever he is at home. Suchitra's father Balaje used to stock up ice creams in their fridge whenever his dear son-in-law comes home to enjoy a break.
The star wife also revealed how tough it was to be the better half of the busiest actor of Malayalam cinema in the 90s. 'When I was pregnant, I used to visit the doctor alone. It was tough because most of the women were accompanied by their husbands. Finally, one day I asked him (Mohanlal) to come with me to the hospital and he did. However, the doctor wasn't that day when we finally went to the hospital together' recalled Suchitra Mohanlal.
However, she remarked that Mohanlal has always made sure that he spends time with their kids, Pranav and Vismaya aka Maya, when they were studying in the boarding school in Ooty. But now, Mohanlal and Suchitra are finally spending time some quality time together during this lockdown. Interestingly, the actor's main hobby these days is learning new recipes from YouTube and cooking for his wife. Suchitra funnily remarked that she proudly posts the pictures of the dishes made by her husband on social media, while most of her friends share their cooking experiments.
