Mohanlal and Mammootty, the superstars of Malayalam cinema have set a great example with their strong friendship. Recently, Mohanlal took to his official social media pages and shared a candid picture with his dear Ichakka, Mammootty. The super adorable picture is now going viral on social media, and the netizens are in love.

In the picture, which is captioned "With Ichakka" Mammootty and Mohanlal are seen having a fun moment. The Malayalam superstar's new picture once again cements the fact that their 4-decades long friendship remains absolutely strong despite both of them being arch-rivals on the silver screen. Unlike any other superstar duo, Mohanlal and Mammootty have shared the screen in 55 films so far.

To the unversed, Ichakka (which translates to big brother) is the nickname given to Mammootty by Mohanlal and a few of their close friends. The superstars have always expressed their fondness toward each other with some loving social media posts and interviews. Mammootty had won the internet with a touching video dedicated to his dear Lal on the 60th birthday of the complete actor.

Another factor that garnered the attention of both Mohanlal and Mammootty is the duo's frequent meeting in the last couple of days. Recently, the Big M's had won the internet by twinning in black at the wedding reception of Mohanlal's close associate and the popular film producer Antony Perumbavoor.

In the picture, Mammootty is once again sporting his long hair-beard look, which is reportedly his get-up for Amal Neerad's upcoming Netflix film. The project is expected to go on floors before the duo's much-awaited project, Bilal. The megastar has some promising projects in the pipeline including political drama One and mystery thriller The Priest.

Mohanlal, on the other hand, will be next seen in the highly anticipated upcoming family drama Drishyam 2, which is slated to release on Amazon Prime Video soon. The complete actor is currently busy with the shooting of his upcoming mass entertainer, Aaraattu.
