Dulquer Salmaan Opens Up About Working With Father Mammootty; Says He's Always Ready
Dulquer Salmaan is unarguably at the top of his game, with some highly promising projects in the pipeline. However, the audiences are still eagerly waiting for the young star to share the screen with his father, Megastar Mammootty. In a recent interview, Dulquer Salmaan opened up about sharing the screen with Mammootty.
When he was asked about his plans of doing a film with his father, the megastar, the pan-India star revealed that he is always ready for it. "My father has to take a decision on whether the two of us should do a film together, or not. I am always ready to work with him, whichever language it is in. In fact, I have already asked him too, and I am waiting for his decision," revealed Dulquer Salmaan.

If the rumours are to be believed, Dulquer Salmaan has been approached to play a pivotal role in Bilal, the highly anticipated upcoming Mammootty-starrer. According to the grapevine, director Amal Neerad already narrated the script to the father-son duo, and they are highly impressed with it. However, a final decision will be made only after both Mammootty and Dulquer Salmaan complete their current commitments.

Dulquer Salmaan has always been vocal about his deep admiration towards his dad Mammootty. The young actor, who has always stated that he is the biggest fan of his legendary father, has always expressed his love and admiration for the megastar with some special social media posts on all major occasions. Dulquer also makes sure that he shares glimpses of the extremely special bond shared by his father with his baby daughter Maryam Ameerah Salmaan.
Coming to his acting career, Dulquer Salmaan will be next seen in the upcoming romantic saga Sita Ramam, which is slated to hit the theatres on August 5, this year. He will soon kickstart shooting for his next Malayalam film King Of Kotha, which is directed by newcomer Abhilash Joshiy. Dulquer Salmaan's next outing in Bollywood, which has been titled Chup, is also gearing up for a release.
