Mammootty's Rorschach: Trailer Release Date Is Out, Making Video Wins Internet

Mammootty recently wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming project Rorschach. The movie, which is helmed by Nisam Basheer, is touted to be a psychological thriller. The team members released the making video of Mammootty's film and announced Rorschach's trailer release date along with it, on August 27, Saturday.

The highly anticipated trailer of Nisam Basheer's second directorial venture will be released on September 7, this year, on the special occasion of Mammootty's birthday. However, the makers are yet to reveal the launch time and other details. The much-awaited update on Rorschach has left both the Mammootty fans and Malayalam cine-goers who have been eagerly waiting for the film, totally excited.

The Rorschach making video, on the other hand, is now winning the internet with its uniqueness. Interestingly, leading man Mammootty's face remains hidden throughout the making video, which only shows shots from behind. The megastar is visibly sporting a new look with jackets and a different hairdo, in the video. However, the makers' decision to not show the leading man's face in Rorschach making video has definitely made audiences curious.

As reported earlier, Rorschach will have some highly violent action scenes that are entirely new to the Malayalam film industry. The reports also suggest that the Mammootty starrer has the chance to bag an 'A' certificate from the censor board, due to the same reason. However, it has been confirmed that the Nisam Basheer project is going to be a never-seen-before experience for the Malayali audiences.

Rorschach is bankrolled by Mammootty Kampany and distributed by Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films. Asif Ali is reportedly making an extended cameo appearance in the movie, which features an extensive star cast including Grace Antony, Jagadish, Bindu Panicker, and Kottayam Nasser, and others. Anantha Krishnan is the DOP and Midhun Mukundan composes the music. Rorschach has been slated to get a theatrical release by the end of September 2022.
