Actor Bala Hospitalized: Throwback To When His Second Wedding Became A Controversy Due To Religion & Conversio
The actor, who is in the ICU currently reportedly told his friend, actor-producer Unni Mukundan that he wants to meet Avantika, his daughter from first wife.
Actor Bala, who is a popular artist in the Malayalam film industry was admitted into a private hospital in Kochi, following Liver-related issues. His wife, Elizabeth Udayan, a doctor by profession is making sure about the quality and timely treatment for the actor.
The actor's friend, actor-producer Unni Mukundan, with whom he had a fallout recently over financial matters, paid him a visit at the hospital. Unni spoke about Bala's condition and mentioned that he is stable. Bala's brother, actor Shiva is also on the way to Kochi.
Amid Bala's hospitalization, news about his second marriage to Elizabeth Udayan has surfaced on social media platforms. Bala, who was earlier married to an Idea Star Singer fame, Amrutha Suresh in 2010, later divorced her in 2019. They have an 11-year-old daughter named Avantika. The actor, who is in the ICU currently reportedly told Unni Mukundan that he wants to meet Avantika.
He then married Elizabeth Udayan in the public eye, which raised questions related to his religion and conversion. He was then quoted saying, "We have no religion and so questions about conversion are irrelevant." He married Elizabeth, his close friend, amid the family members and close friends on September 5, 2021.
