Actor-cum-anchor Mithun Ramesh, who is a popular face on Malayalam television and cinema, has been hospitalized for a rare disorder called Bell's Palsy aka partial paralysis. The actor took to his social media handle to share this shocking news on March 3. The condition, although isn't critical, can have an effect on the person's emotional and physical health. However, the positive side of partial paralysis is that it is curable and reversible. He got admitted in to Ananthapuri Hospitals in Trivandrum.

The disorder is caused due to sudden weakness in the muscles mostly on one side of the face. In most cases, the weakness proved to be having a temporary impact and might improve over weeks. The symptoms include drooping bows, eyes, and mouth and smiles are one-sided. The eye affected by the weakness resists closing. On the whole, the condition isn't really serious and resolves in a few months with or without treatment, according to the available information.
