Prominent Malayalam actor, writer, and director Basil Joseph and his wife have had a fantastic start to 2023. On February 15, the couple was blessed with the birth of their daughter. Basil Joseph took to social media to share the good news with his fans and also shared the name they have given to their daughter.

Sharing a photo of his newborn daughter from the hospital that also featured his wife, Basil wrote, "Thrilled to announce the arrival of our little bundle of joy, HOPE ELIZABETH BASIL! She has already stolen our hearts and we are over the moon with love for our precious daughter. We can't wait to watch her grow and learn from her every day." Take a look here.

Basil rose to popularity with last year's Malayalam superhero movie Minnal Murali. He was last seen in another hit film, Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey and up next Basil will be seen in Enkilum Chandrike, which also stars Suraj Venjaramoodu,Tanvi Ram and Saiju Kurup. It is directed by Adithyan Chadrashekar.
