The much-awaited reality show on Malayalam television, Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5 is set to take over the television, social media, and households this weekend. Season 5, which will be hosted by veteran Mohanlal will kick-start on March 26. The fifth season is also special for the reason that it will feature a contestant from the general public for the very first time.

Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5 will be aired on the Asianet channel. Alternatively, the episodes will be streaming on the OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar.

Although there were speculations about the possible contestants of season 5 of Malayalam Bigg Boss, with just two days away, the almost confirmed list of the housemates comprising Television actors, Malayalam film actors, and social media influencers has been doing the rounds.

The Malayalam Bigg Boss Season 5 reality show will be shot at the exclusively erected Bigg Boss house set at a Film Studio in Mumbai. The fourth season was also shot there. Mohanlal will be juggling between his home-shooting locations and Mumbai until the season is concluded.
