Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5: Bala To Sreenath Bhasi, 5 New Rumoured Contestants Of The Popular Show!

The makers of the most popular reality show on Malayalam television, Bigg Boss Malayalam, have released the teaser of their upcoming Season 5. Featuring the host, veteran actor Mohanlal in it, the teaser was an instant success. Fans of the reality tv show format couldn't wait for Season 5 to begin already. The date of the season's premiere is yet to be announced. It will kick-start from the last week of March, tentatively on the 26th.

Amid these anticipations, several names of possible finalists for season 5 have been trending on the internet. From television actor Jishin Mohan to social media influencer Secret Agent aka Sai Krishna among others, several names have been surfacing online.

Several celebrities-big and small will participate in the reality show. The upcoming season is also said to be open for commoners for the very first time to try their luck and get popular through the reality show. The latest update revealed that couple Pearle Maaney and Srinish Aravind might be roped in for the season.

We hear that actors Bala, Sreenath Bhasi, and serial actor Shiju Abdul Rasheed as the almost-finalist contestants for season 5. In addition, Miss Kerala 2014 winner, actress Gayathri R Suresh, who has done a couple of films, Jishin Mohan, Beena Antony, Omar Lulu, and Aarti Krishna are also rumoured to be the contestants.

Owned and produced by Banijay, the first Malayalam season began in 2018 with Mohanlal as its host. The show is broadcast on Asianet. Like its other south-Indian counterparts, the first season was shot in a specially erected set in Lonavala. The second and third were shot at EVP Film City, and the fourth was and the upcoming season will be shot at Goregaon Film City. The season four winner was Dilsha.
