Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5: Everything You Need To Know About Mohanlal's Remuneration For The New Season

Superstar Mohanlal, who is one of the most-busiest actors in Malayalam cinema is going to come back to the small screen as a host to the much-awaited reality show, Bigg Boss Malayalam 5. The biggest reality show on Malayalam television will begin on March 26 at 7 pm, with the host introducing the season's housemates and sending them inside the house.

Mohanlal was the first choice of the program producers, ever since the Malayalam Bigg Boss was launched. The latest season will run for 105 days, which is over 20 weeks.

Mohanlal, who is otherwise busy with back-to-back movies has chalked out his schedules to host the reality show. For the same, the veteran is offered a lucrative remuneration. Back in 2018, when the first season was launched, Mohanlal was paid Rs 12 Crore for the season.

The reality show was launched in southern regional languages at a time in 2018. In Telugu, RRR star Jr NTR was the show's host. In Kannada, Kiccha Sudeep was hosting the seasons and in Tamil, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan was hosting the seasons.

In Telugu, the hosts kept changing. For the second season, Natural star Nani hosted the event. However, since the third season, actor Nagarjuna took over the responsibility to host the Bigg Boss Telugu shows. However, after Bigg Boss season 6, Nagarjuna decided to quit the show as a host. Kamal Haasan also decided to quit after Bigg Boss Tamil 6. But Mohanlal is continuing to host the Bigg Boss Malayalam. For the same reason, Mohanlal has been offered an even higher and fancy amount for the latest season. There is no official information about Mohanlal's remuneration for Bigg Boss Malayalam 5.

Meanwhile, Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 will run for a period of 105 days and the episodes will be aired on the Asianet channel. Simultaneously, the episodes of Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 will be streamed on Disney Plus Hotstar, after 24 hours of television premiere. From Mondays to Fridays, Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 will go on air from 9.30 pm. On weekends, the super fun episode will start at 9 pm.
