Jayaram Visits Sabarimala With Wife Ahead Of Ponniyin Selvan 2’s Release

Malayalam star Jayaram recently received pan-Indian fame following the release of Ponniyin Selvan. Now that the film's release date is around the corner, the team is busy with promotional activities. Jayaram, who plays an important role in the two-part franchise, was actively involved in the promotional activities for the film's first part.

While we are waiting to watch the second part on the big screens, Jayaram shared a photo on his Instagram space on Tuesday from Sabarimala with his wife. Sharing the photo, he captioned it, "Swamiye Saranam." In the photo, he can be seen in a black mundu and a black shirt. His wife, on the other hand, can be seen wearing a black salwar.

With the photo, it can be clearly noted that he is nearly lost in the intense devotional moment of Darshan as he prays. His wife, Parvathy Jayaram, a well-known yesteryear actress can also be seen standing next to him, as she is also lost in the moment. To recall, Jayaram had earlier last year visited the Sabarimala temple in between the promotions for the first part of Ponniyin Selvan along with Jayam Ravi.

Recently, he made the headlines when he shared a photo from Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium as he took part in the IPL cricket match between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals.

On the acting front, Jayaram will be next seen in the second instalment of Ponniyin Selvan, which will hit the marquee on April 28. He will be seen playing the role of Azhvarkadiyaan Nambi, a spy. Directed by Mani Ratnam, Ponniyin Selvan 2 is a historical fiction based on the Tamil novel of the same name. Trisha Krishnan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, and Chiyaan Vikram play important roles. Apart from Jayaram, the film also stars Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Radhakrishnan Parthiban, Vikram Prabhu, among others in important roles.
