Kerala Story Creates Clash Between College Students: There has been a clash between the students of the Government Medical College hostel in Jammu regarding the film The Kerala Story.

Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and directed by Sudipto Sen, the film 'The Kerala Story' released on the May 5, 2023. The film has received mixed reviews. It is said to have collected Rs.150 crore till now. After the release of the teaser, the film has been facing a lot of backlash. There were strong objections from many quarters that the film incites religious hatred. A case related to this is going on in the court.

Clash Started From The WhatsApp Group?

In this situation, the clash between students caused by the film 'The Kerala Story' has become a sensational topic. It is said that one student posted that the film was good in the students' WhatsApp group, while another student posted it asking them not to post anything other than studies.

Due to this, an argument broke out between the students and they split into two groups and beat each other. Following this last Sunday, unidentified miscreants entered the hostel and severely assaulted the students in which 5 students were injured. One of the students said that over the past few years, students have been divided into religious groups within the college campus.

Five Students Injured

While 5 students were undergoing treatment in the hospital, 4 students have been discharged today. 1 student is still being treated for a head injury. He will be discharged soon. The college administration has lodged a complaint with the police to trace the involvement of outsiders.

The Principal said that college disciplinary action will be taken against the erring students. The medical students are protesting demanding an investigation into the attack and action against those involved. This has created quite a stir in the college and this incident has shocked the entire country.
