Malayalam Comedy Actor Innocent In Extremely Critical Condition; Still On Ventilator Support!

Officials of VPS Lakeshore Hospital informed that actor Innocent's health condition remains critical. Innocent is being treated with the help of life-saving equipment, the hospital authorities said. Innocent's health condition has been clarified in the medical bulletin released by VPS Lakeshore Hospital. Innocent was admitted to the hospital two weeks ago due to physical complications of cancer.

Innocent hit the silver screen in 1972 with the film 'Nrithasala'. Attracted attention as a comedian and character actor. Innocent's distinctive body language and Thrissur-style dialogue became his trademarks. The entire Malayalam industry has embraced the beloved actor.

He won acclaim by playing notable characters in many films like 'Gajakesariogam', 'Ramji Rao Speaking', 'Dr. Pasupathy', 'Kabuliwala', 'DevaAsuram' and 'Patham Nilayile Theevandi'. He has received the State Government Award for Best Supporting Actor and the Film Critics Award. Innocent was also the president of Amma, a film actors' association.
