Paachuvum Athbuthavilakkum is the directorial debut of Akhil Sathyan. Akhil himself has written, directed and edited the film. Akhil Sathyan is the son of popular Malayalam director Sathyan Anthikad. He has previously worked with Anthikad on several films.

The film released yesterday amidst the PS2 Storm. After a long time a Malayalam film is getting so much positive feedback on its day one. Fahadh Faasil is back with a brilliant script selection.
