Malayalam actress-comedian Subi Suresh sent shock waves across the State with her unfortunate and untimely death on February 22 due to ill health. The 42-year-old breathed her last following unsuccessful treatment for liver-related disease and Pneumonia.

During one of her interviews with Kerala Kaumudi, the chirpy actress once opened up about her relationship status, her take on marriages, etc. She was quoted saying that she was disinterested in marriage as she couldn't find an appropriate match for her to take the big leap despite dating two or three men.

Subi said, "I was in love with two to three people but I couldn't travel with them. So we parted ways mutually. If someone comes into my family, it should be the right person and love my family entirely. I have also received several proposals for weddings from the USA, which I found uninteresting."

On the same occasion, Subi also mentioned a school memory, which was kind of cute. Two girls from an all-girls school with English and Malayalam medium of education are so obsessed with Subi that they came running to her after she didn't go to school for ten days. According to Subhi, "I was a heroine back in the school. I was also the leader of the school during my class 10. Two girls-Asha and Sulekha from Malayalam medium always had eyes on me even during playtime, they would stare at me through the windows. They continuously watched me and when I didn't go to school for ten days, they were so concerned that they came running and asked why. They even also asked for my photograph so that they can keep looking at it while she isn't around."

Following her unfortunate and sudden death, the entertainment industry of Malayalam was upset and condolences for the actress are pouring in from all corners. Fans are praying that her family is given the strength to cope with the grave situation.
