In what came as one of the most shocking news from the Malayalam industry, renowned actress, host and comedian Subi Suresh breathed her last on February 22. She was 41. According to media reports, Subi was reportedly under treatment for liver related ailments and was admitted to a private hospital for the same. Her sudden demise has sent down a wave of shock and grief across the Malayalam industry and several celebs have paid their heartfelt condolences on social media.

In the caption, Dulquer Salmaan mourned Subi Suresh's demise and said that he is shocked to know about her demise. Calling it a real loss to the Malayalam film industry, Dulquer Salmaan said that Subi Suresh had a lot left to do in her life. He wrote, "Absolutely shocked to hear about Subi Suresh. Soo young and so much left to do. A real loss to the Malayalam film fraternity. Praying for her family and friends to cope through this difficult time".

Surabhi Lakshmi Mourns Subi Suresh's Demise

Meanwhile, Surabhi Lakshmi, who happened to be Subi Suresh's close friend, stated that the late actress never mentioned her illness during their conversation. "One would always end up laughing, after receiving a call from Subi chechi, despite the mood you are in. Whenever she called me, she would always start the phone call with the dialogue, 'Illathu Enthundu Subadhre Visheshangal'. That was how she always was. When I received the Nation Award, she called up and said, "Your award is an award for all of us who do comedy, especially women," she added. On the other hand, Mohanlal, Asif Ali, Dharmajan Bolgatt, Mammootty etc also mourned Subi Suresh's demise.
