Tamil Nadu multiplex theater owners announced that the film will not be screened due to law and order issues and lack of reception for the film. The film was banned in the state of West Bengal. However, the film is making record collections across the country. This film, made at a cost of 30 crores, has so far collected Rs. 150 crores.

In this situation, Adah Sharma, who is playing the lead role in this film, has revealed a surprising information that she has changed her name to act in films.

In a recent interview, she mentioned that her real name is Chamundeswari Iyer and that she changed her name to Adah Sharma because her original name was difficult to pronounce. In this regard, she recently shared on her Twitter page, "My father is Tamil and my mother is Malayali."

On the other hand, Hindustan Makkal Seva activists kneeled in front of District Collector's office in Coimbatore demanding the screening of Kerala Story movie across Tamil Nadu.

On behalf of the Hindustan Makkal Seva Movement, a strong petition was filed before the District Collector's Office asking for the screening of Kerala Story throughout Tamil Nadu. In the petition, they mentioned that the total collection of Kerala Story movie in two days is 19 crores and the support for this movie has increased.
