With the support of BJP and Hindutva organizations, the film The Kerala Story is setting records at the box office. The Kerala Story, which was released amid strong controversies, has set a record by collecting more than Rs.50 crores in 5 days of its release.
The Kerala Story created a sensation before its release with its introduction as a film that exposes the conversion of 32,000 Hindu girls of Kerala state to Islam through love jihad and their trafficking to various countries for the ISIS terrorist organization.
The film's trailer itself drew criticism, with the film crew releasing a revised version of the number of women victims in Kerala from 32,000 to 3. From there, public questions and criticisms about the reliability of the data presented by the film crew increased.

Following this, many BJP supporters continue to post on social media in support of The Kerala Story, posting theater photos and copies of tickets as proof. BJP leaders are also sharing photos of them enjoying the movie The Kerala Story in theatres.
