Kerala Story Box Office Collection Day 6 Prediction: Yadu Brings New Hype With 'The Story Theft' Issue

The Kerala Story BO Collection: Yadu Vijayakrishnan Parameswaran creates a new controversy about The Kerala Story. He said "Sudipto Sen asked me if I have a suitable script for a film in Hindi with the subject 'Love Jihad' in 2021. Then I wrote a one-line story."

Directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Amrutlal Shah, the movie 'The Kerala Story' stars Adah Sharma, Pranav Mishra, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani and Siddhi Itnani. There were various criticisms including 'It is a dangerous propaganda film'. Cases were also registered in this regard. The film has already been taken out of theatres in some states including Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.

Story Theft Isuue

Talking about this, Yadu Vijayakrishnan Parameswaran said, "In 2017, I worked on a documentary on 'Love Jihad' with Sudipto Sen, the director of 'The Kerala Story'. Sudipto Sen asked me if there is a suitable script for a Hindi film on the same subject in 2021. Then I wrote a one line story. Once it was approved, I started writing the script in full. After completing the writing and handing over the script, the production company withdrew the contract that had mentioned my name as the script writer.

Script Writer To Consultant

After they said that a new contract would be signed, I continued to cooperate with the film's location search. But in the new contract, they deleted the script writer and mentioned only 'consultant'. Later I backed out of the film due to salary and contract terms. I was expecting my name to be included in the thank you card after the release of the film. But they didn't mention my name there either.

'The Kerala Story' is a film made with great intentions. I am not against the film. So I am not interested in taking legal action. I think the producers will do something about this."

Netizens are commenting that the makers of 'The Kerala Story' movie are not even capable of writing a script on their own for a propaganda film.
