TV buffs have not been able to stop themselves from talking about the wildcard contestant of BB Malayalam 5 as she has managed to create ripples within a day of her entry in the popular reality show.

Hanan Hamid became a social media sensation after she captured the attention of the netizens with a viral video. The girl sold fish after college to raise money for her education. As she wanted to take care of her family, she decided to sell fish in the market to support her loved ones and also sponsor her education.

Hanan received praise from all the corners when she pursued a different path and continued to stay strong despite the ups and downs in her life.

The 25-year-old suffered serious injuries after she met with an accident at Kodungaloor. She was immediately rushed to a hospital in Kochi, where the doctors treated. She had suffered grievous injury to her spine.

Hanan Hamid's arduous story became the source of inspiration of many youngsters. She studied chemistry at a private college in Idukki. Several netizens appreciated her after her story was reported in a local newspaper.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan turned cheerleader for the fish-selling student, stating the entire state would support her. Hanan, while interacting with the daily, revealed that she woke up early to visit a wholesale market to purchase fish after which she headed towards the city market. After completing her class, she sold fish that she bought earlier in the day. Despite getting trolled online, the brave girl never let negativity affect herself.

Hanad Hamid entered the BB 5 house as a wildcard contestant. It remains to be seen if she will be able to create ripples in the show or not. Bigg Boss Malayalam 5 is hosted by Mohanlal. The show airs on Asianet at 9:30pm on weekdays and 9pm on weekends. It is also available for streaming on Disney+Hotstar.
