Directed by Blessy, the film is a labor of love, with production spanning over a decade due to financial and logistical challenges. Principal photography occurred over six phases between March 2018 and July 2022, with shoots taking place in the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan, the Sahara in Algeria, and Kerala, India.

The film stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as Najeeb, supported by Amala Paul as Sainu and Jimmy Jean-Louis as Ibrahim Khadiri. A.R. Rahman's haunting score, paired with Sunil K. S.'s cinematography and A. Sreekar Prasad's editing, brings an added emotional depth to this visually stunning narrative.
