Siddique Faces Rape Charges Following Complaint By Young Actress: A case has been registered against actor Siddique following a complaint filed by a young actress. The Museum Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram, has booked the actor on charges of rape and issuing threats. The complaint alleges that Siddique raped the actress at the Muscat Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram in 2016.

The actress submitted her complaint via email to the Director General of Police (DGP). In her statement, she revealed that Siddique lured her with the promise of a role in a film and later assaulted her at the hotel in 2016. Following the filing of the complaint, Siddique resigned from his position as the General Secretary of AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists). The investigation has now been assigned to a special team.

This is not the first time the actress has spoken out about the incident. She had previously raised the issue on social media. Despite her allegations, Siddique contested and won the General Secretary position of AMMA, showing no signs of backing down. It was only after the release of the Hema Committee report that the actress publicly named Siddique and reiterated her accusations in front of the media. In response to the growing controversy, Siddique stepped down from his role as the General Secretary of AMMA.
