Sreelekha Mitra Raises Allegation Against Ranjith: Bengali actress Sreelekha Mitra made a strong allegation against famed Malayalam director Ranjith. She claimed that during one of the parties Ranjith asked her to visit him in his hotel room. At first she believed that he wanted to talk about the movie. But later Sreelekha realized that Ranjith had ulterior motive. She further explained what exactly happened with her.

Sreelekha alleged that Ranjith, the current chairman of Kerala State Chalachitra Academy, misbehaved with her. Kerala Kaumudi reports Sreelekha saying, "I had done a role in Shyamaparasad's 'Akale.'" She then added that at the party "Ranjith asked me to visit his room in the hotel." She believed he was calling her to discuss the movie but he "had ulterior motives."

Sreelekha explained hat Ranjith "first touched my bangles and then his hands caressed my neck and shoulder. It was so uncomfortable that I stormed out of the room." Sreelekha had to stay in the hotel room in "total fear for the entire night." Later, I got to know that I was thrown out of the movie. Since then, I have never received work from a Malayalam movie," added Sreelekha. She then immediately revealed the 'horrible happening" to documentary film director Joshy Joseph. Sreelekha now demands the victims to come out and speak against Ranjith.
