Bengali Actress Sreelekha Mitra Accuses Mammootty Starrer Malayalam Movie Director Of Touching Her 'Badly'

Bengali actress Sreelekha Mitra, who is famous for her bold statements, never shies away from speaking out her mind. Recently, in one of her recent interviews, Sreelekha talked about having a bad experience when she wanted to try her hand in the Malayalam movie industry. Elaborating that, she shockingly accused one of the big directors of trying to touch her 'badly'.

Sreelekha Mitra recently opened up about her bitter experience to the news portal, Twenty Four, that the director from a Malayalam film, where Mammootty was the lead star, behaved in a improper way. She further went on to say that the director not only behaved rudely to her but also tried to touch her without her consent. The actor revealed that she didn't even try to act in Malayalam movies after that experience.

Elaborating her experience, Sreelekha Mitra said it all started when she went to Kochi to talk to a director about the film's character, fees, and other things to keep in mind. However, the director suddenly started touching her bangles amid conversation to which the actress didn't pay much heed realizing that he must be curious of seeing such bracelets. However, she sensed something wrong when the touch reached her neck following which she quickly left the room, and the director took a taxi and escaped from the event where the producer was also present.

Sreelekha further talked about recieving no money for return ticket for which she was promised to upon the invitation to join the introduction event. However, later, she used her own money to get a return ticket.
