Threatening Call Received by Prominent Malayalam Dubbing Artist Bhagyalakshmi: Malayalam dubbing artist, actress, and activist Bhagyalakshmi has disclosed that she received a threatening call warning her of physical assault if she continued to support the Women in Cinema Collective (WCC). The revelation was made in an interview with Asianet News, where Bhagyalakshmi stated that she is considering filing a formal complaint with the police.

Bhagyalakshmi reported that the caller initially inquired politely if she was indeed Bhagyalakshmi. However, the conversation quickly turned menacing, with the caller threatening physical violence if she spoke out against any actor. Additionally, the caller hinted at coming to her home to cause trouble.

This incident marks the first time Bhagyalakshmi has received such a threatening call, although she mentioned that she was somewhat prepared for it. She confirmed that the call originated from the number 8645319626 and assured that she would be moving forward with legal action in response to the threats.

Meanwhile, AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists) is reportedly experiencing increasing internal strife.
