Mohanlal Speaks On Relationship With Mammootty: 'If You Compete, You're in Trouble'

Mohanlal and Mammootty are two grand actors of Malayalam industry. They both have done a bunch of movies together. Talking about his experience with Mammooka, Mohanlal said to Kaumudi Movies, "We did about fifty-two or fifty-three films. Still willing to do films. Other than that there are no other problems." He added that there has never been a competition between the two about doing the movies. Mohanlal claimed, "I never thought that he could do my film and I could do his film... We both make a film and its production is not an easy task. There is no need to compete with each other." He then recalled Mammootty acting with renowned named like Amitabh Bachchan, Shivaji Sir, Nagesh Rao, MGR, Padminiyamma, and Sukumariamma.

Mohanlal then claimed that there is no need to compete with Mammootty as he is like a family to him. However, if one tried to compete with the superstar, he might land himself in a trouble. Mohanlal said, "There is no need to compete. If you compete, you will be in trouble. It's like a beautiful family. It still is. We can still make a film with me and Mammooka."
