Kalidas Jayaram Marries Tarini Kalingarayar In A Star-Studded Ceremony At Guruvayur Temple

Kalidas Jayaram Marries Tarini Kalingarayar: Actor Kalidas Jayaram, the son of veteran actors Jayaram and Parvathy, has tied the knot with Tarini Kalingarayar. The wedding was held at the Guruvayur temple between 7:15 and 8:00 AM and was attended by several prominent personalities from the film and political fields, including Minister of State and actor Suresh Gopi, Minister P. A. Mohammed Riyas, director Major Ravi, and actor Gokul Suresh, among others.

The bride, Tarini Kalingarayar, is a model and a 24-year-old native of the Nilgiris. She gained recognition as the third runner-up in the Miss Universe India 2021 pageant and holds a degree in Visual Communication. The couple got engaged last November in Chennai.

A pre-wedding celebration took place in Chennai on Friday, with close friends and family in attendance. Kalidas' sister, Malavika, and her husband, Navaneeth Gireesh, traveled from London to join the celebrations. Malavika's wedding was also held at the Guruvayur temple earlier this May.

Notably, Jayaram and Parvathy's wedding was also celebrated at the Guruvayur temple on September 7, 1992.

A Dream Come True, Says Kalidas Jayaram

Jayaram expressed deep gratitude as he reflected on the significance of his son Kalidas' wedding taking place at the same venue where he had married Parvathy 32 years ago. He considered it a fortunate moment to witness his son's marriage in the same setting, surrounded by loved ones, much like his own wedding day. Overwhelmed with emotion, Jayaram shared that words couldn't fully capture the happiness he was feeling as the family took a moment to speak with the media after the ceremony.

Kalidas described his wedding day as the fulfillment of a long-held dream. He shared, "Today is the fulfillment of a dream I've held dear for years. It's a fresh new chapter in my life with Tarini, whom I affectionately call Little. The day feels like a turning point." Kalidas admitted to feeling some pre-wedding nerves but found peace upon entering the Guruvayur temple. Tarini also expressed that the joy they felt was beyond words, describing their happiness as something that couldn't be captured in mere language.
