Kanakarajyam OTT Release: Kanakarajyam, a Malayalam film inspired by real events that took place in Alappuzha a few years ago, is set to make its way to OTT screens soon. The film, which released in theaters on July 5, has already gained attention for its compelling storyline and realistic portrayal of social themes. Directed by Sagar Hari, known for his previous works Sathyam Mathrame Bodhippikku and Veekam, Kanakarajyam is expected to resonate deeply with audiences when it begins streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

The film's narrative is centered on the lives of everyday people, exploring their sense of pride and moral integrity. In Kanakarajyam, veteran actor Indrans takes on the role of Ramanathan, a security guard affectionately called "Ramettan" by those around him. Alongside him, acclaimed actor Murali Gopy portrays Venu, a man dealing with the weight of substantial debt from various unsuccessful business ventures. Venu's struggles provide a poignant look into the challenges faced by those striving to find stability amid financial hardship.

Kanakarajyam was produced by Ajith Vinayaka under the banner of Ajith Vinayaka Films. The technical team includes Arun Muraleedharan, who composed the music, Abhilash Shankar on cinematography, and Ajeesh Anand as editor, all of whom contributed to bringing Sagar Hari's vision to life. Sagar also wrote the screenplay.

Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital streaming rights for Kanakarajyam, and the platform has announced that it will begin streaming the film soon, though a specific date has yet to be revealed.
