The veteran actress was 79 years of age when she died leaving a legacy to remember her forever. For the unversed, the actress has been hospitalized in Kochi for several weeks before she breathed her last.

Over the past few weeks, her health has been deteriorating and she was admitted to the hospital while doctors called her condition 'critical'. According to the reports, Kaviyoor Ponnamma's death reason is the age-related ailments, and she has passed away after battling multiple health issues. The actress died at Lizzie Hospital, Ernakulam.
