Disney+ Hotstar has acquired the digital streaming rights for the mystery thriller Kishkindha Kaandam, which is now exclusively available on the platform as of November 19. The film caters to a diverse audience with streaming availability in multiple languages, including Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu, ensuring wide accessibility for viewers across regions.

Kishkindha Kaandam Synopsis

Ajay, a forest officer, and his wife, Aparna, move into his ancestral home near a dense forest. While grappling with personal tragedies, including the unexplained disappearance of Ajay's son, they stumble upon unsettling truths about Ajay's father, Appu Pilla. His memory loss and fixation on a missing pistol gradually unveil a dark secret, bringing to light a haunting and tragic past.

Kishkindha Kaandam boasts a stellar cast, featuring Asif Ali as Ajay Chandran K.V., Vijayaraghavan as Appu Pillai, and Aparna Balamurali as Aparna. The film is further elevated by strong supporting performances from Ashokan, Jagadish, Aarav, Vyshnavi Raj, Shebin Benson, and notable appearances by Major Ravi, Nizhalgal Ravi, Nishan, Kottayam Ramesh, Arjun Radhakrishnan Ambat, and Shravan K. Dev.

Directed by Dinjith Ayyathan and produced by Joby George Thadathil under the Goodwill Entertainments banner, the film's story, screenplay, and dialogues were penned by Bahul Ramesh, who also handled cinematography. The editing was done by Sooraj E.S., while Mujeeb Majeed composed the music. Kaka Stories oversaw the film's design, with sound mixing by Vishnu Sujathan and trailer mixing by Balu Thankachan at 20db Black in Chennai. Renju Raj Mathew managed audiography, and Bobby Sathyaseelan served as the chief associate director.
