L2: Empuraan Release Date: The highly anticipated film L2: Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and starring Mohanlal, has officially announced its release date. The film is set to hit theaters on March 27, 2025. Written by Murali Gopy, L2: Empuraan, also known as L2E, is a Malayalam action thriller and serves as the second installment in a planned trilogy, following the blockbuster Lucifer, which premiered in 2019.

Lucifer marked Prithviraj's directorial debut and achieved massive success, breaking box office records and becoming one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films of all time. Originally conceived as a three-part series, the overwhelming response to Lucifer prompted the filmmakers to proceed with the sequel.
