Meena Ganesh Passed Away: Malayalam actress Meena Ganesh has passed away at the age of 81. She had been receiving treatment at a private hospital in Ottapalam after suffering a stroke and was hospitalized for the past five days. According to Mathrubhumi, Meena Ganesh's death was reported on Thursday at a private hospital in Shoranur, Palakkad.

According to the reports, Meena Ganesh was hospitalized because of a spike in her blood pressure. Because of her old age, Meena's condition worsened. Her death was confirmed on Thursday at around 1.20 am.

Meena Ganesh's funeral will be held on Thursday evening at 4 pm at Santhitheeram in Shoranur.

Meena Ganesh's acting career started in 1976. She made her debut with the film 'Manimuzhakkam.' Meena has been an important member of the Malayalam film industry. She was known for her roles in Karumadikuttan, Thalayanamanthram, Nandanam, and Vaasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum.

Meena Ganesh's acting talent was inherited from her father, KP Kesavan, who was also an actor and appeared in numerous Tamil films. Born in 1942 in Kallekulangara, Palakkad, Meena developed an interest in acting from a young age and began exploring it during her school years. She later performed in Malayalam drama societies. Meena made her acting debut in 1976, but it was her role in the 1991 film Mukhachitram that truly brought her recognition from the audience. In her later years, Meena reportedly faced financial difficulties due to her illness. Fortunately, she was supported by a pension from Amma Tara Sanghatana and the Film Society, which helped her sustain herself.
