Premalu is the latest entertaining romantic-comedy drama written and directed by Girish A.D. This Malayalam movie which was released on February 9 in India and on February 15 all over the world, is running successfully at the theatres, winning rave reviews.

The movie which features a young bunch of actors is getting applauded for the story, set-up, narration, performances, and music. Owing to the film's positive reviews, the makers are getting lucrative offers from the OTT players. The decision has been postponed as the film's theatrical run is still rocking.

Despite many OTT platforms like Netflix, Disney Plus Hotstar, Sony LIV, and Prime Video vying to secure the digital streaming rights of this Premalu movie, as per the available information, one of the leading OTT giants, Disney Plus Hotstar, which is always one mile ahead for most Malayalam films, has reportedly succeeded in buying the rights of the Premalu movie. But, now that the movie is continuing to do great and churn figures at the box office, the makers have decided to postpone the movie's digital streaming debut. Further details are officially unannounced as of now.

This romantic comedy stars Naslen as Sachin, Mamitha Baiju as Reenu, Shyam Mohan as Aadhi, Sangeeth Prathap as Amal, Akhila Bhargavan, Meenakshi Raveendran, and Althaf Salim, Shameer Khan, Ranjith Narayan Kurup, AR Rajaganesh, K.S. Prasad, and Mathew Thomas among others in key roles.

Co-written and directed by Girish A.D., the movie was produced jointly by Fahadh Faasil, Dileesh Pothan, and Syam Pushkaran under the Bhavana Studios banner. Ajmal Sabu cranked the camera and Akash Joseph Varghese worked as the editor. Vishnu Vijay composed the film's entire background score and music. Kiran Josey worked as the co-writer for Premalu movie.
