Netizens lost it when they pointed out that it is not the first time for Ramesh Narayan.

The popular musician and vocalist Ramesh Narayan, who is known for similar incidents immediately drew flak from the netizens who expressed severe disappointment after she refused to accept the award from actor Asif Ali. The entire incident sparked criticism and happened during the trailer launch event of an anthology movie.

During the trailer release event of Manorathangal, Asif Ali came down the stage to give an award to Ramesh Narayan, who worked as a musician for a chapter in the anthology film.
