Directed by MC Jithin, the film had its theatrical release on Friday, 22nd November 2024, amid decent buzz. Headlined by Nazriya Nazim and Basil Joseph, the Malayalam entertainer opened to positive reviews from fans and critics alike.

Sookshmadarshini - starring Nazriya Nazim as 'Priyadarshini' and Basil Joseph as 'Manuel', kickstarted its theatrical journey journey on a solid note. The Malayalam thriller impressed the audience and raked in Rs 1.55 cr on the day of its release. Due to the positive word-of-mouth, the film saw a massive growth by over 93% on Saturday and collected around Rs 3 cr. As per Sacnilk, the film went on to see further hike on Sunday and collected approx. Rs 4.10 cr, taking the total net collection to Rs 8.65 cr at the end of opening weekend.

After a happening opening weekend, Nazriya and Basil's 'Sookshmadarshini' has picked up a slow pace on the first Monday (today). According to the latest Sacnilk updates, the movie has managed to rake in approximately Rs 80 lakhs today (Monday, November 25) till 7:35 PM. As of now, the total net collection is estimated to be at Rs 9.45 cr. To note, this doesn't include the night show figures.

Given the current buzz, the Malayalam thriller might cross the Rs 10 cr mark today despite the drop. The film needs to earn Rs 55 lakhs more today to touch the mark, which doesn't seem to be impossible.
