Omprakash was arrested by the police from the Nakshatra Hotel in Kundannoor, Kochi, where he was reportedly staying with his accomplice, Shihas, a marble dealer from Kollam. During the arrest, the police seized cocaine and other narcotics from Omprakash, leading to suspicions that a drug-fueled party had taken place before law enforcement arrived.

Connections Between Film Industry and Criminal Activity Under Investigation

As the investigation unfolded, authorities revealed that several individuals had visited Omprakash's hotel room, including well-known actors Prayaga Martin and Sreenath Bhasi. Both of their names appeared in the remand report filed by the police. The police also noted that Omprakash had booked three rooms at the hotel, where the alleged drug party took place.
