Sreenath Bhasi And Prayaga Martin Allegedly Visited Gangster Omprakash Amid Drug Charges

Prayaga Martin And Sreenath Bhasi Allegedly Linked To Arrested Gangster Omprakash: The Malayalam film industry has been hit by a major controversy following the arrest of gangster leader Omprakash, who was apprehended in Kochi on charges of organizing a drug party at a local hotel. Reports have emerged that young actors, including Prayaga Martin and Sreenath Bhasi, allegedly visited Omprakash's hotel room before the police raid, causing a stir in the film community.
Omprakash was arrested by the police from the Nakshatra Hotel in Kundannoor, Kochi, where he was reportedly staying with his accomplice, Shihas, a marble dealer from Kollam. During the arrest, the police seized cocaine and other narcotics from Omprakash, leading to suspicions that a drug-fueled party had taken place before law enforcement arrived.
Connections Between Film Industry and Criminal Activity Under Investigation
As the investigation unfolded, authorities revealed that several individuals had visited Omprakash's hotel room, including well-known actors Prayaga Martin and Sreenath Bhasi. Both of their names appeared in the remand report filed by the police. The investigation further disclosed that around 20 people were present in Omprakash's room, raising concerns about possible connections between the film industry and criminal elements.
The police also noted that Omprakash had booked three rooms at the hotel, where the alleged drug party took place. This development has raised questions about the influence of criminal figures within the entertainment industry, which has already been dealing with scandals related to the Hema Committee report and sexual harassment allegations.
Omprakash's criminal record further complicates the situation. Earlier this year, his gang was involved in an attempted murder case near Pattoor in January 2023, adding to his notoriety. With these recent revelations, the Malayalam film industry is facing renewed scrutiny as authorities continue their investigation into the drug case.
