Star Singer Season 9 Winner: Aravind was declared the winner of Asianet Star Singer Season 9, solidifying his position as a rising star. The five finalists who competed for the prestigious title were Aravind, Nanda, Disha, Anusree, and Balram. Joining them in the grand finale as the viewers' choice finalist was Sreerag, whose journey on the show earned him massive support from the audience.

The grand finale took place on Sunday evening at the Atlas Convention Center in Angamaly, Ernakulam, and was an entertainment-filled spectacle from start to finish. The final competition was held in two intense rounds, where contestants had to display not only their vocal prowess but also their ability to perform under pressure.

Aravind Shines As Winner, Sreerag Earns Popularity Award

Aravind secured victory by scoring the highest points across both rounds. His win was announced through an LED screen display, sending the audience into a frenzy of applause. Meanwhile, Sreerag, with his immense popularity, was named the Star Singer Popular Contestant. The night was further elevated by electrifying performances from renowned vocalists Hariharan and Stephen Devassy, adding a musical brilliance to the proceedings.

The two final rounds featured a Choice Round, allowing contestants to sing their favorite song, and a One vs. One Round, where they performed duets. Judging the finale were industry stalwarts K. S. Chithra, Sujatha, Sithara Krishnakumar, and Vidhu Prathap, with the legendary Hariharan serving as the chief judge.

Apart from the thrilling musical competition, the grand finale also served as a platform for some exciting announcements. Asianet launched its new serial Teacher Amma and the game show Engile Ennodu Para. Additionally, fans were thrilled to hear the official announcement of Star Singer Season 10, keeping the momentum alive for the popular reality show.

In addition to the first prize of ₹50 lakhs sponsored by Confident Group, its chairman, C. J. Roy, announced that each of the other five finalists would receive ₹2 lakhs in recognition of their talent and hard work throughout the season.
