Objections Over Pulsar Suni's Bail Grant: As per the latest update, the bail granted to Pulsar Suni by the Supreme Court in the actress's assault case has come in bad taste for the State government as well as the parties involved in the petitioner's place.

Pulsar Suni is the main accused (A1) in the actress's assault case and he argued in the Supreme Court that there was no fair trial in the case and Dileep's Lawyer has been prolonging the case. Against the State Court's interest, the Supreme Court granted bail to Suni. The court gave the bail as the trial was protracted and ordered the trial court to grant the bail within a week.

A Bench consisting of Justice Abhay S Oka and Justice Pankaj Mithal passed a decree after pointing out that Suni had been in jail for about seven years while the co-accused in the same case (including Dileep) were released on bail. The Court added that the State could argue for stringent bail conditions to be imposed by the trial court before Suni is released on bail.

As per a report on Asianet news, the Supreme Court earlier had put a stay on the fine imposed by the High Court on Pulsar Suni, who was fined Rs 25,000 for filing repeated bail applications.

For the unversed, in February of 2017, a well-known Malayalam actress was attacked in a car in Kochi where she escaped being kidnapped. She complained that actor Dileep saying that he threatened her and tried to abduct her. Dileep had come out on bail a long time ago.
