Turbo OTT Release Date: Mammootty-Raj B.Shetty's Actioner Will Hit Streaming Platform In August On THIS Date

Turbo OTT Release Date Update: Turbo is the latest action-comedy starring Mammootty, who also produced the movie in which Raj B. Shetty made his Malayalam debut. Written and directed by Vysakh, the movie was released theatrically in May this year to a thumping response at the box office worldwide.

Made on a budget of Rs 23.5 Crore, Turbo earned about Rs 70.1 Crore by the end of its theatrical run and earned mixed-to-positive reviews for the film.

Turbo Synopsis
Turbo Jose (Mammootty) is a Jeep driver in Idukki and he gets involved in trouble which leads him to move away to Chennai. There, he gets entangled with Indhulekha and his friend Jerry, along with several surprises that await him.

Turbo OTT Release Date Update

The digital streaming rights of Turbo were secured after the theatrical release by the Sony Liv streaming platform. However, the movie didn't make the much-awaited OTT debut all this while despite many dates popping up as the official release date on the OTT. The movie's release on Sony LIV was postponed officially and the new release date is mentioned as August 9. While the original version Malayalam will be there, on the OTT platform, dubbed versions of Turbo's Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada will be available.

Shetty as Vetrivel Shanmugha Sundaram, Sunil as Auto Billa, Anjana Jayaprakash as Indhulekha, Kabir Duhan Singh as Vincet, Bindu Panicker as Rosakutty, Shabareesh Varma as Jerry, Adarsh Sukumaran as Basil, Dileesh Pothan as Andrew, VTV Ganesh as Minister Arivazhagan Chella Durai, Aruldoss as DySP Kumaravel, Robo Shankar as MLA Karmegam, George Maryan as Inspector Marudhamuthu, Prasanth Alexander, Sunny Wayne, Sandhya Manoj, Niranjana Anoop, and Johny Antony among others in key roles.

Turbo Crew
Written by Midhun Manuel Thomas, Turbo was directed by Vysakh. The movie's cinematography was handled by Vishnu Sarma and editing was headed by Shameer Muhammed. Christo Xavier composed the film's entire music and score. Wayfarer Films, owned by Dulquer Salmaan distributed the movie all over India while Turbo had its worldwide release by Truth Global Films.
