Vincy Aloshious Reveals Industry Struggles: Cheated Payments, Lost Opportunities, And Gossip For Speaking Out

Vincy Aloshious Reveals Malayalam Film Industry Struggles

Vincy Aloshious Opens Up About Challenges In The Malayalam Film Industry: Actress Vincy Aloshious recently shared her experiences and concerns regarding the challenges she has faced in the Malayalam film industry. While she has not personally encountered the so-called "power group" that is said to influence the industry, she expressed her frustration with the dominance exerted by certain individuals. Speaking candidly to the media, Vincy highlighted the difficulties that arise from working without formal contracts and the impact of egos on her career.

"I am hearing things I never expected. Like everyone else, I am waiting to know the truth. I haven't faced any sexual harassment. But when someone makes such claims, it's crucial to look into them," Vincy said.

Vincy explained the common practice in the industry where actors and crew members often start working on a film without a signed contract. Although a salary is usually agreed upon before filming begins, the promised advance payment is frequently delayed until after production has started. "When we ask why the agreed amount isn't being paid, we are told that it's this particular director's film, everyone needs to cooperate financially, and that people come to work on this director's film solely out of desire," Vincy said. She noted that such explanations often leave her and others feeling uneasy, raising doubts about whether it is right or wrong to question these practices.

As a relatively new entrant to the industry, Vincy admitted that she was initially unaware of the extent of the issues. "This is how they teach us," she said, referring to the industry's norms. However, after the Hema Committee report was released, shedding light on widespread misconduct within the Malayalam film industry, Vincy realized that she, too, had been subjected to unfair treatment.

Vincy Aloshious Speaks Out On Industry Challenges

While Vincy has not personally faced sexual harassment, she emphasized the importance of taking allegations seriously and investigating them thoroughly. Her comments come in the wake of the Hema Committee report, which has led to numerous industry figures sharing their own distressing experiences, highlighting a broader pattern of misconduct.

Vincy also touched on the issue of losing film opportunities due to the egos of certain individuals. She recalled an incident where she questioned the injustice she faced, only to be told that she was too inexperienced to understand the workings of the industry. "Vincy has only been in the industry for five years. You don't know what cinema is. You still have a lot to learn," she was told. Despite such dismissive remarks, Vincy now feels more confident in standing up for herself and questioning unfair practices.

The actress expressed her determination to overcome these challenges, despite the difficulties she faces. "I'm not part of any organization; let everything come out," she said, signaling her willingness to speak out. Vincy acknowledged that asking for her rights often hurts the egos of others, leading to the spread of negative stories about her, which, in turn, results in lost film opportunities. Nevertheless, she remains resolute. "Parvathy Thiruvothu and others are great inspirations. Even if I lose more films, life still remains. I will live it with dignity," Vincy Aloshious said.

"Without knowing the truth, we can't say that Mukesh and Siddique are wrong. And when victims speak out, we can't dismiss their claims as false either. Let the truth come out, and whoever is at fault should be held accountable. The impurities need to be identified and removed," she concluded.

Vincy Aloshious's revelations shed light on the darker aspects of the Malayalam film industry, sparking discussions about the need for better treatment of actors and more ethical industry practices. As the conversation continues, it remains to be seen how the industry will respond to these serious concerns.
