Film Stars Extend Generous Support To Wayanad Landslide Relief Efforts: In the aftermath of the devastating landslide in Wayanad, prominent film stars have generously contributed to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

Mammootty led the way with a donation of 20 lakh rupees, followed by Dulquer Salmaan, who contributed 15 lakh rupees. The star couple, Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim, also handed over 25 lakh rupees. Mammootty and Dulquer made their donations through the Mammootty Care Foundation, while Fahadh and Nazriya's contribution came via their production company, Fahadh Faasil and Friends. Fahadh announced their support through social media.

Additionally, the Care and Share International Foundation, spearheaded by Mammootty, and the CP Trust, led by prominent industrialist C.P. Saali, have jointly dispatched vehicles to Wayanad for disaster relief. These efforts include providing ambulance services, first aid medicines, food items, clothes, utensils, bottled water, and drinking water tankers to those affected.

Tamil Film Stars Rally for Relief

Notably, Tamil cinema stars have also shown their solidarity. Suriya, Karthi, and Jyothika collectively donated 50 lakh rupees to the relief fund. Vikram contributed 20 lakh rupees the other day, and actress Rashmika Mandanna added 10 lakh rupees to the cause. Their collective efforts highlight the film industry's commitment to supporting communities in times of need.

According to the latest update, Kamal Haasan has generously donated ₹25 lakhs to the Kerala Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund to support the ongoing relief efforts in the aftermath of the Wayanad landslides.
