Women’s Equality Day: Josh Creator Suja Siju’s Journey of Creativity & Self-Expression Is a Sheer Inspiration

India's much talked about short video app Josh enjoys massive popularity in the market. It has not just been a source of entertainment but has also given platform to several creators to express themselves and connect with the audience. One such creator is 33 year old Suja Siju from Mala, Thrissur district who makes beauty and fashion content and is grateful to Josh for giving her a chance to reach new heights.

For the uninitiated, Suja completed her graduation from MG University and tied the knot in 2012. She is married to a farmer-cum-businessman and has two daughters. She is a trained Mohiniyattam dancer and has also been practicing Bharatanatyam since the age of 10. Interestingly, Suja aces the art of combining art and music with storytelling which takes the viewers to a different world.

Speaking of her journey as an influencer, Suja is known for focussing on sustainable and ethical brands for creating content on beauty and fashion. She stated, "I started using Josh 3 years ago. It's been an incredible journey, allowing me to share my creativity with a wider audience. I've loved connecting with viewers and receiving feedback. Josh was the first platform that gave me the opportunity to express myself through the videos. My community manager at Josh is a supportive person. I appreciate the team's belief in me. Their encouragement has boosted my confidence. I just hit 2.2 million followers on Josh account. Josh has enabled me to earn a passive income, giving me financial freedom and security. It's allowed me to focus on my art and pursue new projects". She also emphasized, "I'm living my dream, and it's surreal. I prioritize self-care, nurture my relationships, and stay grounded. I'm grateful for this journey and excited for what's to come".

While time management happens to be Suja's biggest struggle, she has been trying hard to balance the life of an artist and influencer. Amid this, her husband has been her constant support.

Talking about her future plans, Suja asserted that she plans to expand her art studios along with collaborating with other artists along with exploring new mediums. Meanwhile, she has advised the budding artists to work hard, never give up and stay true to your vision.
