Abhilasham OTT Release: How To Watch The Romantic Drama Starring Saiju Kurup, Arjun Ashokan And Thanvi Ram

Abhilasham OTT Release: Malayalam film Abhilasham, which hit theatres on March 29, 2025, is now gearing up for its digital premiere. Directed by Shamzu Zayba and produced under the banner of Second Show Productions by Ann Sariga Antony and Shankar Das, the film will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video from May 23, 2025.

Starring Saiju Kurup, Arjun Ashokan, and Thanvi Ram in lead roles, Abhilasham delves into the theme of unexpressed emotions and the passage of time. The story revolves around Abhilash, a man haunted by memories of Sherin Moosa-a woman he deeply cared for but never found the courage to confess his love to. When Sherin unexpectedly returns to their hometown after several years, Abhilash is faced with the question of whether he will finally voice his feelings or once again remain silent.

Written by Jenith Kachappilly, the film blends personal nostalgia with the complexities of emotional restraint. While it had a theatrical run earlier this year, the upcoming OTT release is expected to make it accessible to a wider audience who may have missed its screening in cinemas.

In addition to the lead trio, the ensemble cast includes Navas Vallikkunnu, Binu Pappu, Uma KP, Neeraja Rajendran, Sheethal Zackaria, Ajisha Prabhakaran, Nimna Fathoomi, Vasudev Sajeesh, Aadhish Praveen, Zhinz Shan, and Nandana Rajan.

Abhilasham: Behind The Scenes

The technical team comprises Sajad Kaakku as the director of photography, Sreehari K Nair as the music director, and Nimz handling the editing. Art direction is by Arshad Nakkoth, and the costume design was managed by Dhanya Balakrishnan. Ronex Xavier was in charge of makeup, with Rajan Philip serving as the production controller.

The film also had contributions from lyricists Sharfu and Suhail Koya, and the audiography was handled by Vishnu PC. Arun K Ravi oversaw the visual effects, while Bilal Rasheed worked as the colorist. Subtitles were provided by Pooja Raveendran.

Distribution was managed by Second Show Productions, with Phars Films handling overseas distribution. The digital marketing was undertaken by Obscura Entertainments, and music rights were secured by 123 Musix Entertainments Pvt Ltd.

With Abhilasham now set for its OTT debut, viewers can stream the film from the comfort of their homes starting May 23 on Amazon Prime Video.
