Bazooka Box Office Collection Day 9 Prediction: Mammootty's Action Thriller Slows Down In Second Week

Bazooka Box Office Collection Prediction: Bazooka, the recently released Malayalam action thriller, marks the filmmaking debut of Deeno Dennis, who also penned the script. Headlined by Mammootty and Gautham Vasudev Menon, the film is backed by Yoodlee Films in collaboration with Theatre of Dreams.

Though Dennis had spent nearly three years working on an earlier version of the script as early as 2018, the project took shape only later, with Mammootty encouraging him to direct it himself. Initially announced in 2022 by producers Dolwin Kuriakose and Jinu V. Abraham, the current version of Bazooka was formally revealed in April 2023. The shoot began in Kochi in mid-May and wrapped in October 2024. Featuring music by Saeed Abbas, visuals by Nimish Ravi, and editing by Nishadh Yusuf and Praveen Prabhakar, the film opened to lukewarm reviews.

Bazooka Synopsis

Benjamin Joshua, a determined police officer based in Kochi, sets out to uncover a gang of serial thieves who operate under various disguises to carry out a string of robberies. As the case unfolds, he discovers a startling link-the criminals appear to be executing their crimes based on a video game's structure. Assisting him in the investigation is John Caesar, a retired forensic expert and ethical hacker, who joins forces with Benjamin to bring the culprits to justice.

Bazooka boasts a star-studded cast led by Mammootty, who plays Antony John, a retired forensic expert and ethical hacker, and Gautham Vasudev Menon as ACP Benjamin Joshua IPS. The film also features Babu Antony, Neeta Pillai, Gayathiri Iyer, and Divya Pillai, who appears as Annie Benjamin. Sidharth Bharathan takes on the role of CI Arjun Ramaswamy. The supporting cast includes Jagadish, Iswarya Menon, Shine Tom Chacko, Sumith Naval, Hakkim Shah, and Sneha Ajith, along with performances from Dinu Dennis, Bhama Arun, Abin Bino, Santhosh Varkey, Vasisht Umesh, Binu Pappu, Meenakshi Raveendran, Joe John Chacko, Spadikam George, Shammi Thilakan, Mime Gopi, George Maryan, Vaiyapuri, Khalid Rahman, and V. Bazooka, written and directed by Deeno Dennis, was produced by Dolwin Kuriakose, Jinu V. Abraham, Vikram Mehra, and Siddharth Anand Kumar, with co-production by Suraj Kumar and Sahil S. Sharma. The executive producers were Aashish Mehra and Anurodh Gusain. The film's cinematography was handled by Nimish Ravi, and editing was done by Praveen Prabhakar and Nishadh Yusuf.
